"After high school, I lived in Israel for a year, then went to U Pitt for a BA in Anthropology. Shortly after graduating college, I went back to Israel and met my husband-to-be on a tour that I was leading. Josh and I got married in 2006. Around the time I met him, I went back to school for a MA in Education Policy and Leadership and a MA in School Counseling in Maryland.
In the 2008-2009 school year, I actually worked back at our old stomping grounds, Mendon High School, as a long-term substitute School Counselor all year. It was a fantastic, full-circle, experience. It was so much fun working with my old teachers and counselors. Me and my husband recently bought a house in Penfield; he is finishing up his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and I am working in the Rochester area as a high school Counselor."
